Managed by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Sports Authority of India, in collaboration with National Sports Federations and the Indian Olympic Association, this prestigious event promises to celebrate India’s growing excellence in winter sports. Combining thrilling ice and snow sports, the games offer athletes a world-class platform to demonstrate their prowess.
Venues For the Khelo India Winter Games 2025
The 2025 Khelo India Winter Games will be hosted across two primary locations, each renowned for their natural beauty and suitability for winter sports:
- Leh, Ladakh: Set to host ice events, including ice hockey and ice skating, from January 23 to 27, 2025. Key venues include NDS Stadium, Guphuk Pond, and LSRC Army Rink.
Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir: Scheduled to host snow events, such as alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering, and snowboarding, from February 22 to 25, 2025. Competitions will take place at Kangdoori Phase 1 and the Golf Course Club.
